くま!What was the world\'s first color movie?
An easy answer would be The Wizard of Oz or Gone With the Wind which were released in 1939, but these are just the most famous of early color movies.
To get to the world\'s first color movie we still have a ways to go back.
As early as 1902 short films were made and the frames hand tinted to create color.
To satisfy the record we jump forward to 1918 when inventor Leon Forrest Douglass filmed \'Cupid Angling\' in \'Naturalcolor\', a process he invented.
\'Cupid Angling\' is considered to be the world\'s first full length color movie. |
